Rites of passage and ceremonial witnessing are a part of virtually all traditional cultures throughout herstory. As we have lost the village, we have also lost this important part of culture that helps us to integrate the massive changes that occur in our lives. We believe in the power of ceremony, and creating space for spirit to guide us though the birth portal and beyond. We create ceremony through songs, prayers, blessings, drumming, creating earth alters, and following intuitive guidance mixed with the ancestral traditions we have been gifted. Mother & baby blessings typically occur in the third trimester, to energetically and spiritually prepare for the rebirth of the mother and to welcome the child. Womb weaving typically occurs within the first year postpartum* as a way to physically and energetically close the birth portal. *This can be done at ANY point postpartum including years later 9 month threshold ceremonies honor the completion of the "exo-gestation" period. This is a time to honor your babies growing independence and create safety as they begin to explore the world outside of their mother.
